Dalkeith Arts is a local art group with creativity and community at the heart of everything we do. Every week people join us to make art. Most of the have always felt some affinity to art – drawing, painting or looking.

This is the power of art, it calls to us all in different ways at different times. The way we express ourselves through art cuts through time and space. It has a power that connects us to the truth and to each other.

Inclusivity

We offer a warm welcome to everyone and endeavour to make sure we reach all the members of our community. We are a not for profit organisation so we charge as little as we can for classes and any profit goes back into the pot to provide more low cost or free provision.

Community

We work with the arts in a way that encourages people to share and build lasting friendships. We want to make Dalkeith and Midlothian an even more beautiful place.
