We are a volunteer-led, non-profit community group providing culture experiences and adult art classes in our historical hometown Dalkeith, Scotland. We love to celebrate our local talent and offer opportunities to get creative for everyone – whether you are an experienced artist or have never held a paint brush.

Dalkeith Arts has been a very successful local arts organisation for a long time. Our existing small committee of volunteers got together about 4 years ago and have pulled their skills to give the organisation a twenty first century makeover.
Our Facebook pages popularity has grown and grown and we now have upwards of 1000 friends who enjoy a weekly, if not daily, update of news and views of arty opportunities and creations. We have adopted the existing St Nicks art group which is now full to the brim with new talent learning and creating together every Friday morning. We have developed an impressive timetable of weekend and evening art classes and craft classes with the support of Midlothian Council and Dalkeith Library. And much much more. ..
